May Furbowl? Y/N Vote now.

Unread post by Zoren » Sun Apr 19, 2015 11:36 pm

Since West Sacramento's INTERGALACTIC EXPO is happening the first weekend of May and there will be plans to attend it that does effect furbowl to a Degree. Also running Furbowl @ Fireside on two Saturdays this last month was kind of mixed.. Sure it allowed some more people to show up but it also meant we couldn't get bowling until really late. I was thinking of canceling it since Capitol bowl is having bowling related to the Intergalactic expo, but that turns out to be a 21+ event so I didn't want to cancel the enjoyment of members under that age. Thus, to save costs before BLFC and hopefully get bowling a bit earlier I'm just going to have it be on a Sunday next month if at all. Options are as Such:
  • Evening of May 3rd
  • Evening of May 10th
  • Just cancel it for May.

If it was going to be a Sunday, about what time would it get started?

It's ganna be hard for me to attend either day, but I will do my best to attend whenever it is in May. I pushed hard for it on Saturday for April, so I will keep quiet about it this next time to give others a chance. But yeah if it's on Mother's Day I will likely be spending that evening with my family. But it depends on when we start. I could just show up later right when we normally start bowling @9PM.

It would start at 7pm, and we likely wouldn't get lanes until 10 pm as usual at Fireside..

I won't be able to make it for either Sunday then. Hopefully should be able to make it if we go to the Capitol Bowl event though.

Voted for 3rd. I'll be there. I might even be there and be square at the same time.

EDIT: Apparently I'm now an "Occational Poster". "Occational"? Really?

Looool, wow. They made me a mod recently, but I think you have to be an admin to fix that.

Errr, I don't think I would be able to make it on either Sunday... :( Saturday worked out fine for me last time, but I don't really think my dad would be okay with me staying after 10, or even at all on a Sunday; he has to drive me there and back, and usually sleeps earlier on Sundays because of work the following day.

Sorry to hear that Dingoyabuki. Sundays are hard for those of us that have to get up early for work Mondays. Hope you can make the next one then.

Thank you, I hope I'll be able to make it to the next one, too; Saturdays are almost always feasible for me. Meanwhile, I'll be staying tuned for other events I could possibly attend :)

Understandable. Don't worry we will have bowling again on Saturdays, but it just doesn't work out this next month due to other plans for the first two Saturdays of the month. If you hadden't noticed some of us are going to the West Sacramento intergalactic expo on the 2nd. It's a fun event to check out if you can afford to make it there.
